About
Started skiing on logging roads and in the trees at the age of 7
Cannon/Mittersill was my first real ski area/mountain
PSIA L2 w/CS1 cert, TM2 Telemark
Several hundred hours teaching/coaching children and adults from beginner thru high level intermediate
Many hours in multi-week after school programs.
Attended PSIA Eastern Div Trainer Academy - I train/coach Instructors as well as those working toward cert.
Telemark crossover is a speciality - Work with Alpiners, Nordic (cross country), as well as Snowboarders who want to experience Tele! If you have never been on skis, try Telemark with me.
Like to do "explore the mountain" type coaching - especially in the bumps and trees!
Current gear:
Alpine - Blizzard Bonafide w/Look Piviot 12 bindings - Technica boots w/Intuition heat molded "wrap" liners - plus Hotronics heaters to keep the toes warm!
Telemark: Atomic Vanage 85's w/22Designs Outlaw NTN bindings - Chrispi evo NTN boots w/heat molded "wrap" liners - plus Hotronics heaters to keep the toes warm!
Alpine & Telemark - Icelantic Nomad 105's w/Binding Freedom Inserts to enable swapping between Alpine (Look P12's) and Telemark (Outlaw) bindings.
Poles - adjustable of course - why would one want anything else?? ;-)
