Loren Dailey

I had a very solid 1:45 min lesson with Loren. He spent time first focusing on the details of my stance and helped the pro shop make the appropriate binding adjustments on the spot. Once he taught me something which I needed to practice on my own (switch riding), we did not spend the rest of the time practicing; rather we moved on to another concept which could help me improve my current form and riding style immediately (carving vs. skidding). He has the right combination of knowledge, positive attitude, and the ability to communicate which all good teachers require.

Loren's passion for snowboarding and interest in helping others learn the sport makes him an ideal instructor. He has a great demeanor and has complete confidence in his students, which put us at ease and helped us focus on building our foundation. The guidance he provided was practical and clear and his energy and enthusiasm were contagious. We spent several days with him at a beginner level and our son enjoyed several hours of more advanced lessons - a true testament to Loren's ability to address a wide spectrum of students. We look forward to future lessons with Loren.

Loren is patient and experienced. He helped me meet a personal goal that allowed me to feel more confident on the mountain. I enjoyed my lesson and plan to take more this season.
