About
I have been a lifetime skier. Skiing is in my blood and ski areas are like home to me. Have skied at 51 ski areas so far and on my way to hit 100 ski areas. I have taught for 30 years all levels of skiing. I spent 9 years managing a Special Olympic ski program. I also coached teens to PSIA level I and become instructors. Have taught many never ever people to become skiers. That is one of the more rewarding lessons.
My equipment of choice is all mountain Dynastar skis with Marker bindings and Lange boots. I have a variety of skis and bindings.
I teach skiing to help people learn how to have fun on the snow. I love to see the smile on peoples faces when they are making turns on the snow. When I teach I am also learning. I enjoy teaching all levels of skiing. My teaching style is to be safe, have fun and then learn something. My goal is to make it fun and not feel like a lesson. Rarely do I use technical terms. My lessons are spent skiing with little talking.
