About
I grew up Alpine racing in Maine at Sunday River.
After completing the racing program I began to coach Alpine Racing for the
Gould Academy Competition Program and was in charge of the Youth Group, which
had 20-25 kids. After that I started to teach ski lessons for children ages
3-14 of all abilities for the Perfect Turn Ski School Program at Sunday River.
Currently I am still teaching ski and snowboard lessons at Sunday Rivers
Perfect Turn Department.
I teach skiing and riding not only because I
love the sport but I love introducing new skills to people and watching them
put it to work. When I get the chance to see or run into some of my old
students and I get to catch up with them and hear about what their winter
sports adventures are makes it all worth it. It’s a blast being able to teach
these skills and then just go out and rip it with them. I really work to make
sure that what I’m teaching is understood so we can just keep learning more
skills and tricks out on the slopes. I’m addicted to skiing and riding and when
I can pass that along, it only makes me happier.
Equipment:
Fischer RC4 World Cup Slalom Race Ski
RC4 Z11 Bindings
Salomon Boots
Flow RUSH ABT Snowboard
Flow NX2-AT Bindings
Flow Rift Coiler Boots
