About your guide:
Eleven years ago I showed up in Winter Park much to my parent's dismay, I was taking my college education to run lifts at Winter Park Resort. Many cold days and shovel loads full of snow later, I am still grateful for choosing such an amazing place to call home. You can find me living for the next powder day and finding the stashes in between. Sharing what is unique about Winter Park Resort, the amazing bumps, the awesome tree runs, and most of all the people.
Snowboard style:
While bump runs are my happy place, I'm equally content on the steeps, in the trees, or finding fresh lines in the cirque. You'll usually find my board on the ground, cruising around, away from the crowds. There aren't too many places on the mountain that I don't enjoy and I've got some great routes for getting in as much vertical as possible.
Why ride with Janel:
I am happy to be a part of a unique group of individuals who are all here to experience something amazing. Let me show you some of my favorite hidden places at the resort, from The Cirque, to Vasquez Ridge, to the Mary Jane, there is something for everyone here.
