About
About your guide:
I've been incredibly fortunate to call Winter Park home for the past eight years. As a freelance writer, my flexible schedule has allowed me to log nearly 1,000 days on the resort's chairlifts in that time, exploring every square inch that the mountain has to offer. Whereas some things in life tend to get a little stale after so much repetition, such is not the case here. With over 3,000 acres of inbounds terrain that stretches over seven distinct territories, there are literally no bad days at Winter Park Resort.
Snowboard style:
I can honestly say that I love every facet of snowboarding - from hard-charging days, to laid back laps with up and coming rippers. Obviously, nothing beats dropping some steep, open faces on a powder day, or needling through Mary Jane's bountiful tree runs in the midst of an epic storm, but every single day at Winter Park Resort shapes up to be the best day ever. Whether it's taking hot laps through any of the diverse terrain parks, or laying deep carves on the most perfectly pitched groomers in Colorado, Winter Park Resort has got it all.
Why ride with Tyler:
Regardless of what terrain you're looking to ride, or what pace you're trying to maintain, I'm stoked to take you along. Casual days exploring the mountain are just as enjoyable as chasing powder turns, so a fun-filled adventure is my guarantee. (Plus, if you're up for it, I might just let you in on a couple secret stashes, too). I love riding with people of all ages and all abilities, as sharing my passion for the sport is what keeps me doing it every day.
With that said, I'd love to show you all the ins and outs of this incredible place I call home. And in the meantime, catch a glimpse of what's potentially in store by looking me up on Instagram (@tymacleod). You may just see a few spots worth asking me about.
