About

When I was 3 years old, my parents put me into ski lessons with Greek Peak's Junior Ski and Ride school. My dad learned to ski that same season and we both completely fell in love with it! Growing up, skiing was always my favorite father-daughter activity. When I was 11, I decided that I wanted to try something new and I took my first snowboard lesson, again at Greek Peak. The first day was much more difficult than I had anticipated but with a little effort and determination (and realizing that my right foot actually worked a lot better in the front than the left) I eventually got the hang of it. I started teaching at Greek Peak when I was 17 and a junior in high school. Greek Peak has become like a home to me and taking this job was one of the best things I have ever done. I have learned so much about the sport that I love and I've made some great friends along the way. I am so excited to be entering my 6th season as an instructor, 12th season on a snowboard, and 21st season sliding on snow.

Although I do not typically teach skiing, I do still enjoy skiing on occasion and I even competed on my college's race team for two years.

Now, I am living in Canada and attending Veterinary School but I always look forward to coming back to Greek Peak in the precious time that I get to spend back home.

Snowsports have the potential to be so much more than a hobby or a weekend activity, they can be a way of life. They can build confidence, produce lasting friendships, and bring families together.
