About

I have been skiing for 27 years since I was 3 years old. I have only been snowboarding for a little over a year but I love to teach others to love it as well.  My full time job as a teacher and my athletic background have helped me become a much better ski and snowboard instructor. I became a ski/snowboard instructor because I wanted to teach people how to love the mountain the way I do. My favorite run at blue is switchback because it's a very fun relaxing run. If you take a lesson with me I guarantee you will leave with a smile.

Beginner - Another Program

We are so happy our 8 year daughter was paired up with Deisha. We saw such a difference in her skiing after her one hour lesson - Deisha helped her learn how to control her run, make turns and finish strong. And our daughter loved her! And she dominated on the slopes after that lesson. Definite smiles at the end! Thank you!

Beginner - Another Program

I was the only one in my group lesson so Deisha gave me very focused training. She is very positive and is quick to praise when I get something right. I look forward to learning more from her!

Beginner - Another Program

Awesome instructor. Very encouraging and always smiling. There was about 10 people in our group and she had all of us turning and going up the magic carpet before the end of it. Even with a huge group she gave everyone attention and she got so excited everytime someone did something new to progress. When someone struggled she encouraged them and gave them motivation to do it. I can't wait for my next lesson with her.

Intermediate - Another Program

Deisha did a great job reintroducing me to the slopes! I haven't gone skiing in a few years and wanted a refresher. She taught me techniques that I did not know. She is very patient, and a good instructor.
