What is a perfect day at Winter Park? It might start with a cruiser down fresh corduroy, a bump run with a perfect line, knee deep powder through the trees, or for that matter knee deep powder anywhere. It might be a sunny day with the perfect blue sky famous in the high country or a snowy day with giant snowflakes quietly falling. I can show you the best places to go to experience the conditions one might find on any given day.
As your guide I will take you to see all aspects of this place I consider my home mountain. I've seen it change a lot over the years, from "high speed" T-Bars with a few runs, the expansion of the Olympia Lift bringing fun intermediate, family, friendly runs, to the opening of Mary Jane with its varied terrain and memorable bump runs. Now with the Gondola and new Sunnyside lift we can find the perfect day for your adventure.
Ski style:
I will to tailor your day to meet your desires and needs. I love skiing with families of all ages. I know the secret stashes of powder, the mini tree runs the little ones adore to do over and over. I can take you through the trees at Eagle Wind, guide you down the best bump runs on the mountain, or take you to the smooth cruisers, whether they be steep or gentle.
Why ski with Karen:
I can show the older skier how to make a perfect day. I regularly ski with a group of older women that have the attitude; you are never too old. One of my strengths is the ability to adapt to skiers or riders needs and limits. I can make it a challenging high speed day or a relaxing, get out in the mountains kind of day. If you want a guide to show you the best way to get around the whole the 7 Territories I can do that, too.
