About

Hi! My name is Sam and snowboarding is my greatest passion. At the age of 16, I started instructing on a small hill on the east coast. I  After high school, I chased the snow and went to college in Vermont where I worked at the largest ski resort on the east while earning a degree in Adventure Education and a certificate in Resort Management. At this time, I learned to be a more proficient outdoor educator while instructing at Killington. After college, I continued to teach but got the urge to continue chasing the snow. After the longest road trip of my life, I made it to Mount Hood where I could snowboard all year round. My dedication and excitement for the sport is what got me here and is the same reason why I love to teach. I've been teaching students of all ages and levels for the last ten years, so if you want to progress your riding and have some fun snowboarding come take a lesson with me!
