About your guide:
I'm proud to call this mountain my home. Year round, my wife and dog and I live here in the Zephyr Mountain Lodge at the resort base. Winter Park ski area is literally right out our back door and it's where we spend all of our best days. Even when the snow thaws, I'm out in 'the back yard' exploring terrain on foot and looking for new spots to have an adventure.
Snowboard style:
Most locals will say they know the mountain like the back of their hand, but one thing I love about this place is its potenital to suprise you. Within the 3,000+ acres of this ski area, there are infinite opportuinities for discovery and countless new lines to ride. In the decade and a half since I made my way to Winter Park from the San Juan Mountains, I've been all over this place. Even with hundreds of days on the hill each season, I'm still finding new places to shred here and new ways to have an adventure.

I love making fresh tracks in the Cirque's untouched terrain, romping through the forest to find the pefect tree line at Mary Jane, or cruising the corduroy on the Winter Park side and taking in the views of my favorite mountains on the planet.
