About
About your guide:
I grew up in New Canaan, CT and moved to the Fraser Valley in 1995. I learned how to ski at New England IKON resorts such as Stratton, Killington, and Sugarloaf USA, but my skiing skills vastly improved once I had the opportunity to ski the famous trees and bumps of Winter Park/Mary Jane! I truly consider myself an all-mountain skier, as I enjoy cruisers, bumps, and finding fresh powder in the trees. My outdoor interests are extensive, as I love to hike, golf, and play tennis in the summer months.
Ski style:
On a typical ski day, I will warm up on my favorite corduroy cruisers on the Winter Park side before hitting the bumps at Mary Jane or Vasquez Ridge. If there is fresh snow, I will venture to the trees at Eagle Wind or the Parsenn Bowl. Many skiers ask me what my favorite run at WP/MJ is and my response is always "I can't pick just one!"
Why ski with Kate:
I am a passionate skier who logs many days on the slopes. Because I ski multiple days a week, I am incredibly knowledgeable about current mountain conditions including grooming, moguls and powder stashes!
My positive energy is infectous and we will have a blast on the slopes! Come and ski with me!
