About

I enjoy teaching snowboarding, because I love sharing this amazing thing with people who want to learn so bad that they are willing to risk falling. My motto:"If your not falling, your not trying hard enough.". I push myself to the limit of my ability and I know that because I push over it and bail, from that I learn what I did wrong and work on it, till I get it.

Last weekend was the Start of my 19th year snowboarding and my 4th as an instructor. It was great to get back to the mountain. Riding with my fellow instructors is a great for me to progress and talk about new methods and Technics to teach in our lessons.

I have had step in or rear entry bindings most of the years I have snowboarded. I love in the start of a lesson I show people how to use straps... then use my Flow Bindings and hear "I want ones like that." I enjoy sharing with those who are just learning about all the different equipment available.

At Big Boulder, I tend to just stay on "the bunny hill" Little boulder, "its better to look like an expert on the novice hill then a novice on the expert hill"  nah, I enjoy just cruising at an easy pace and trying new tricks (not much of a park guy). the run I like the most has to be Bunnies Elbow, Its the longest run at Boulder and its steep enough for some speed, but mellow enough to try to manual all the way down.

Over the summer I am a Whitewater  River Guide and all year an artist.
