The joy of watching my kids ski on there own and the feeling of independence from being told what to do. The chance to have the kids ski with their parents and siblings. Not to have them being held or helped for self confidence.
I was a boy scout leader for 11 years and had 10 boys get there eagle scout . I was also a EMT for 15 years in Boulder and volunteered for childrens events. I was the go to guy when there was a difficult student that did not respond to standard teaching methods. Thats where my adaptive teaching comes into play.
I was at vail guiding visually impaired and at breckenridge for 4 years with BOEC.
In the day I competed in ballet skiing and was in the top ten for 3 years of competition.
