About

  • I coach skiing because skiing is my passion, coaching it allows me the opportunity to make it someone elses passion as well and that's what I strive for when I teach.
  • I ski on an old pair of K2 Extremes that have seen everything from the back country of Canyons UT, to the steeps of Vermont but they still slide like new.
  • My favorite run is the glades next to Hercules.  When I'm not teaching you can find me in there or any woods on the mountain.
  • I really enjoy doing anything outdoors and being active. During the summer I camp, hike, and kayak. In the fall I deer hunt and when the snow flies I'm either skiing or snowmobiling on top of going to the gym.
  • I also snowboard as often as I can even though I don't teach it.
  • I have a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Cortland.
  • I am a huge sports fan in general, my favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dom was absolutely awesome. He really cared about everyone in the group and took the time to give each one of us individual instructions and things to work on based on our needs. I don't think my experience in learning how to ski for the first time would have been as great/informative/fun if it weren't for Dom! He's great!
