About your guide:
I have lived all my life in Colorado. Every summer was spent near Nathrop at my grandparent's. You would find me in the woods on foot or on horseback. I love to climb peaks and have been to the top of 38 of Colorado's 14ers. Most weeks when it is not ski season you will find me on the trail with a day pack, a back pack, or on a bike. My trusty little Chihuahua/terrier, Finley is often at my side.
Why hike with Karen:
Why stay indoors when you can be outside? Come enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park from the west side. I have led Nature Hikes with grade schoolers to adults. My love of the outdoors will be apparent when we hike together. I am a retired science teacher and love to pass on my knowledge and joy of the the Colorado mountains. Let's get started....
