About
I learned how to ski when I was 16 by taking a lesson, and I recommend lessons for anyone who wants to ski or ride. Having an experienced instructor lead me through a step-by-step progression built my confidence and helped me enjoy the experience. I have enjoyed many years of alpine skiing at Big Bear, Snow Summit, Mt.High, Mammoth Mountain, and China Peak. I started working at China Peak 5 years ago after moving to Fresno from Southern California. During my first season, I earned my PSIA level 1 certificate for Alpine skiing, and have taught children as young as age 3, and also taught first time adults in their 70s. I also learned how to snowboard in my twenties and there is nothing quite as exhilarating as sliding downhill on the "white fluffy stuff", with skis or snowboard. I love it and I love teaching others! When I'm not at China Peak, I work for Sanger Unified School District as a substitute teacher. Come shred the peak with me!
