About
Skiing gets me to my “happy place.” I love being outside. I love shredding the mountain. And love sharing that experience with guests at Blue Mountain. I enjoy teaching skiers of all ages, from the tiniest, newest skiers to the more seasoned learners who are looking to improve their technique and push themselves to the next level. I grew up in New Hampshire and learned to ski in the White Mountains when I was a kid. I’ve been skiing for over 35 years. When I’m not skiing you might just find me out on the mountain riding a snowboard. Last year I decided to learn the “other” method of sliding and I’m hooked. When I’m not sliding I enjoy running, biking and challenging myself on the Aerial Park. I have a background in Child and Family Development and have extensive experience working with children, families, and groups of students. As an English teacher in Thailand with the Peace Corps I planned weekend camps for school students and Thai teachers of English. I love the challenge of facilitating the learning of new skills and concepts, and skiing allows me to practice the fine art of teaching in the most awesome classroom a teacher could ever hope for. So if you’re looking for a fun, productive lesson, request me as your instructor. You’ll be glad you did.
