About

I have been teaching skiing at Keystone for 31 years.  I enjoy teaching others to enjoy the sport I love, all ability levels, and having fun while learning.  My favorite run is Bushwacker because it feels like skiing out of bounds on varying terrain.  Keystone is a great teaching mountain because it has terrain appropriate for every ability level.  Keystone has some of the best beginner terrain and some of the best glade skiing in the country and everything in between.  I don't have a favorite ski.  The ski manufacturers are making great skis.  My go to ski is between 80 and 90 mm underfoot with a 17 meter radius or so.  The skis in the photo are about 110mm.  They are great for skiing in Highlands Bowl (where the photo was taken).
