About
My skiing began with my family. My husband Rick is an avid skier and ski school supervisor, which inspired me to become a better skier. I started the process of increasing my skills so I could become certified to teach skiing. People with disabilities have always been part of my career and interest. i began teaching adaptive skiing, with a specialty in blind/developmentally delayed. My career also includes being a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Speech Pathologist. When I am at Wildcat Ski Area, I teach seasonal 4-6 year old children. I obtained my Children Specialist 1. My goal is using creative teaching ideas to improve skiing techniques with having fun. I have been teaching skiing for about 12 years. I enjoy sharing the sport with other people by giving them skills so they can go out on the slopes and enjoy the snow!
