About

For 26 years, now, "Ride to live.  Live to ride" has been my core belief.  20 of those years have been in the best job in the world:  sharing snowboarding with others!
I am an AASI Level 3 certified, full-time instructor at Smugglers' Notch Resort in Northern Vermont, where I have taught for 20 years, and I am also an on-hill rep for Rossignol Snowboards (17 years).  Having started in an age where I usually rode alone (because there just weren't that many of us around lol), I decided early on, that any time someone told me they were interested in learning to snowboard, I was going to help them do so.  Why should I have so much fun all by myself?!
I am also a staff trainer for our SnowSport University, and will be trying out for the AASI Development Team later this season.  I enjoy working with all ages and ability levels.  If there is equipment that fits you, we can provide your snowboard experience.  Whether it's "playing" snowboarding with the little groms, or hard charging the steeps and trees with a seasoned shredder, I would love to ride with you!
Thank you for checking out my profile, here.  I look forward to seeing you on the hill!
Cheers!
