About

My name is Rachel I was basicly raised on skis. Skiing  with my dad is probobly the happiest time of my youth. In my teens, all my skateboarding friends & I got into snowboarding . Every chance I got I hiked in the forest & rode all day. 8 years ago I moved to Vermont with my own family. My son was 2 1/2 so we put him on skis & spent the next 5 years in the backcountry . Recently I feel in love with snowboarding again. Feeling blessed I've found the coolest thing ever , starting people on the great journey to finding there inner snowboarder!

Beginner - Kids Snowboard Group - 3 Full Days

It is my pleasure to be writing this review for Rachel Rollo. Rachel was my 10 year old son's instructor on 1/13/18 for his second snowboarding lesson. She was fun, energetic, and professional. He had a great time with Rachel reinforcing the skills that he learned in his first lesson and learning some new skills as well. As a non-skier/snowboarder, I give the instructors kudos for staying out in sub zero temperatures all day with the kids. Our experience at Bolton Valley has been excellent thus far and our son can't wait to get back on the slopes.

Beginner - 1 Hour Private Snowboard

Rachel is so encouraging, celebrating the smallest victory. When I started to feel a little frustrated, her positive attitude, big smiles and high fives reminded me that I truly was having a great time. A highlight of my experience, besides the excitement of making progress in my journey toward shredding queen was afterward - Rachel suggested I go somewhere quiet and replay in my mind all I’d just done. She was so tuned into even my meditative process that she could see into my soul and help it dance. Bravo!!
