About your guide:
Hi my name is John Homans, I’ve been a resident of Winter Park/Fraser Valley for eleven years and I’ve been skiing Winter Park/Mary Jane for nearly 20 years. I’m currently a coach for the Winter Park Competition Center Freestyle Mogul programs. An avid outdoorsman, I spend my time skiing, fly fishing, mountain biking, white-water rafting and exploring the Colorado backcountry. I’m a husband and father of two and our family loves all of the adventure and activities Winter Park has to offer. I really enjoy sharing this wonderful mountain and community with all who come here looking for their own adventures.
Ski Style:
As a coach for the Winter Park Comp Center Freestyle programs I do spend a fair amount of time in the bumps. However, skiing is my number one passion so I spend my free days in search of steeps, trees and even that pool table smooth groomer where you can let the skis run and feel like you’re flying. If you book a trip with me you can get a bit of it all as we explore the mountain for the best snow and thrills to charish and share with friends and family.
