Each skier’s ability and athleticism is evaluated and the day’s instruction is tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. When desired and appropriate, the classes may be conducted “auf piste”, that is, off the designated trail system where safety is paramount. Safety instruction is stressed along with the skiing portion so the student will learn, not only how to ski at a higher level, but how to be safe in an inherently unsafe environment
