Began skiing in 1970 at Government Camp on Mt Hood, Took lessons in the 70's at Mt Hood Meadows, Raced on my HS Ski Team at Ski Bowl, Meadows, Timberline, Cooper Spur on Mt Hood. Began teaching skiing in 2000 after leaving the Navy. I enjoy sharing my passion of the whole mountain experience with my clients and guests! I teach Bump lessons, Off-Piste lessons as well and the first timer! No matter your age or skill, I coach how to be safe, have fun and gain control over your gear in a hazardous environment by minimizing hazards and learning how to deal with the extreme weather through proper planning and equipment. I coach the effifcient use of body movements to extract the most fun for your effort! It is hard to believe skiing is exercise when you are having this much fun!
