About
David, also known as "Bin" on the mountain, began skiing in 1988, and moved to snowboarding later that same season. In the early days there were not many (if any) available snowboard instructors, let alone mountains that would allow snowboarders, so he taught himself how to ride and subsequently began teaching his military buddies how to ride.
David has been coaching in one form or fashion since his freshman year in high school (1983) and is currently a Varsity Softball Coach at a local high school. Once he moved to New Hampshire in the summer of 2014 he sought out the opportunity to become an instructor in the winter of that year, realizing a dream he had during his time in the military in the late 80's to mid 90's.

"Bin" serves as the Assitant Director of the Ragged Mountain Learning Center and activily teaches, trains and freerides. He is primarily a snowboard instructor but can also teach a great ski lesson. If you see him on the mountain be sure to say hello!
