About your guide:
I grew up snowboarding on the east coast and dreamed of riding real snow, real powder. After graduating college I moved out to Winter Park, fell in love with the small town, awesome people, and year round adventure. This is my 10th winter here and I'm just as excited for this year as I was the first year I moved here. I am a full time potter, being an artist I love the creativity that snowboarding provides, every day is completely differnt. I'm excited to be a guide this year and share my joy of snowboarding with new people. The ski industry community is such a joy to be a part of.
Snowboard style:
I enjoy everything about snowboaring, crusing groomers, tree runs, the cirque. I grew up riding ice so moguls were really intimidating to me when I moved here but now they are one of my favorite things to ride on a powder day. I don't ride much park anymore, swapped my park board for a splitboard and love getting those early morning skins in.
Why ride with Josh:
I love showing people around where I live, it helps me remember why I moved here all those years ago. A former raft guide I enjoy pushing people out of their comfort zone and sharing new experiences with them. I've been riding this resort for years so I can help you find the terrain you're looking for and make the most of your time here at Winter Park.
